At Whetstone Oak, we aim to source exceptional timber and find the best possible use for that timber. Most of our pieces are made using oak, elm and walnut, although other woods can be sourced. We do not produce stock pieces: each item is unique, created to fulfil an individual client's brief. This includes small pieces such as coffee tables through to larger tables – our largest table to date is 5 metres long and can seat 20 people comfortably.

The range of products, developed whilst working for the family oak-framed building company, has now expanded and James has presented his work at a number of exhibitions over the last two years, including Clerkenwell Design Week and London Design Week. He has also had his work displayed at Gallery S. Bensimon in Paris.
