Dezeen was launched at the end of November 2006 and has grown rapidly to become one of the most popular and influential architecture and design blogs on the internet. We now get over three million visits a month, and traffic is growing every year.

In 2012 Dezeen was named Digital Business Publisher of the Year at the AOP Awards, where we were also shortlisted for the Website of the Year award. Also in 2012 we were highly commended in the Digital Service category at the IBP Awards.

UK newspaper The Times included Dezeen in its list of the 50 top websites you can't live without in January 2013.

Dezeen was included in Time magazine's Design 100 list of the most influential forces in global design, and in Design Week magazine's Hot 50 list of key figures in design.

Dezeen has just launched World Design Guide, an online guide to the key architecture and design events around the world in 2013-and CDW's there of course!

To kickstart World Design Guide, we've picked out the 40 best events in the design calendar and plotted them on a map of the world.

Events can be searched by month, by location or by name, and you can zoom in to see the precise venue where they take place. Each event has a short text summary plus a link to the event's own website and Dezeen's coverage of past events, where relevant. The responsive design of the site means it works on all devices.
