Urban Danish Design Since 1952
Sometimes all it takes is one idea, like creating functional designer furniture at affordable prices. That was the vision of the two Danish craftsmen Jens E Jensen and Tage Molhom who funded BoConcept back in 1952.
A great story
The tradition for high quality craftsmanship combined with functionality and simplicity became the key success factor for Danish furniture design and production in the 1950' and the success also applied for BoConcept. Success in Denmark paved the road for export and soon the vision of the two craftsmen turned the company from a small furniture factory into Denmark's most global retail furniture chain with more than 250 successful stores in more than 50 countries.
Denmark is still the base for design as well as the manufacturing of a great part of BoConcept furniture. For the team behind the brand the ambition is still the same as back in the 1952 – to create good, honest and useful furniture for the urban-minded customer.
Urban life across the globe inspires to work with limited space, to let good design and functionality go hand in hand and to give you an incredible display of opportunities to customize a sofa or wall system to fit your individual needs regardless of where you live. And BoConcept will assist you all the way. Design consultants and interior decorators there offer a dedicated and professional service to help anybody achieving room solutions that fulfill their dreams.
Great design knows no border. The basic need to feel at home is just as important in Shanghai or Berlin as in New York City or Copenhagen. So let great Danish craftsmanship, urban design and your everyday need for functional furniture unite your home.
