The ecological footprint over the years has escalated on the Earth's ecosystems. As against popular belief, it is not only about carbon emissions but goes further. We in our own way can contribute to control the whole vicious cycle by following a three point agenda – REDUCE-REUSE-RECYCLE.

Reuse is often confused with recycling, but they are really quite different. Reuse is nothing new. What is new is the need to reuse. Reuse is accomplished through many different methods; one of them is developing products that are reusable, long-lived, and capable of being remanufactured or creatively refashioning used items.

Growing up in this time of ecological disarray has greatly influenced my decision as a designer to pursue a path in life which can contribute to the betterment of the environment we live in.
