Clerkenwell is full of designers and makers and to celebrate St Patrick's day Craft Central have invited over their cousins to come and exhibit. On the 11th March 2013 Craft Northern Ireland will be kicking off a five day public exhibition at the newly rejuvenated Craft Central gallery in Clerkenwell running between the 11th and 15th March. The overall exhibition is aimed at showcasing the very best designer-makers within the contemporary designer maker sector in Northern Ireland. Craft NI will offer a 'show within a show' entitled Perspective: Inspiration Unveiled; a dedicated installation exhibiting the work of 13 hand picked craftsmen and women from Northern Ireland, drawing attention to the wealth and cultural strength of artistic talent this unique province has to offer. From jewellery designers to sculptors, ceramists, weavers, glass blowers and furniture designers, there will be a wide array of disciplines represented.
