The eighth edition of Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW) takes place between Tuesday 23 – Thursday 25 May 2017. Celebrating Clerkenwell as one of the world’s most important clusters of architecture and design, Clerkenwell Design Week has firmly established itself as the UK’s leading independent design festival; with over 35,000 visitors, 300 participating brands and a media reach of over 1 million. CDW has four key components – exhibitions, installations, the fringe programme and the showroom programme.

To promote CDW, organisers Media 10 stage a range of temporary elements – exhibitions and installations within the EC1 area. Together with the Fringe programme the variety of content makes for a packed three days, attracting audiences from across the world of architecture and design.

Media 10 carefully organises each element of CDW, working with a full range of local stakeholders including Islington Council to ensure a safe, easy to access and navigable event. One critical aspects of this is keeping good information with the residents of this area. CDW is well aware of the importance of the goodwill they have received from the residents and will do their utmost best to continue this. For that reason an overview is provided to inform you about what happens where and at what time. Below you will find a schedule that shows all the build-up and break down dates as well as the dates of the actual events. If there are any extra restrictions regarding park suspensions or road closures these are also listed.
