SILVERLINE’S LONDON SHOWROOM LAUNCH

With an open house from 10am to 9pm throughout the event, Silverline will be hosting an array of events to events to entertain and educate you all! In addition to this the following events and seminars will take place during CDW:

Acclaimed Artist Frances Brennan will be exhibiting her metal sculptures throughout CDW. She will be doing short talks on the origins and execution of her work. Examples of her work can be found at:

CDP core seminars approved by RIBA!                                                                                                   
Tuesday 25th May: Office Electrics seminar at 1pm as part of the core CPD from RIBA.
Seminar Details: Slide presentation with handout.
Enables architects to specify power and cable management in office furniture.
Provides information on standards and regulations.
Illustrates methods for safe provision of cable management in office furniture.
Allows discussion on operational requirements.

Wednesday  26th May: Secured by Design seminar at 1pm as part of the core CPD from RIBA.
Seminar details: Secured by Design is a police initiative to reduce crime in the built environment. This CPD seminar provides an introduction to Secured by Design and its application to residential developments.
How design can reduce the opportunity for crime
The role of the Crime
Prevention Design Advisor and when to contact them
Legislation and directives relating to crime prevention in the built environment and their implications for architects
Police preferred specification

Thursday 27th May: Interpon Powder Coatings CPD seminar at 1pm (Interpon AkzoNobel's CPD presentation has been assessed and approved by the RIBA.)
As required by RIBA, the seminar presents the technical aspects of architectural powder coatings and covers the following subjects:

  • How to specify correctly
  • Why colour
  • How to achieve colour
  • What is powder coating
  • Powder types
  • Manufacturing/Pre-treatment/Application processes
