What’s new for CDW 2015?
First run in 2010 Clerkenwell Design Week has quickly grown to become one of the most respected events on the global design calendar, but what’s new for 2015?
New campaign. Masterminded by London studio Parallel and featuring bespoke illustrations by Stephen Cheetham the campaign brings to life in cartoon form the skyline and characters that define Clerkenwell.
New installations and commissions. We’re working with a really exciting line up of design talent and materials sponsors, using spaces such as St Johns Square and St John’s Arch, but a host of other locations across Clerkenwell, many not used before.
New venues, as well as showrooms that have signed up for 2015 for the first time we’re working in new spaces; the largest and most dramatic of which is Old Sessions House on Clerkenwell Green. It is hosting Icon’s House of Culture – a must visit for this year’s festival.
New area; the festival footprint is getting bigger and will include Exmouth Market and the surrounding area for the first time. As well as the showrooms which are starting to cluster in the area a number of fringe partners will be listed and the market will host some original CDW content too.
