Leading furniture designer and maker, Roger Lewis has teamed up with three renowned design studios and furniture consultants to launch its ‘industry first’ bespoke offering, The Customizer app, at Clerkenwell Design Week 2019.

HASSELL, Peldon Rose and Tribe Furniture are the first to have used the cutting-edge technology, which allows the A&D community to create tailor-made pieces for clients.

A team of designers from each of the three companies has developed a completely unique design that represents their individual practice. The artwork has been printed onto the finest fabric and has been expertly hand-upholstered to the popular Roger Lewis Sintra chair.

After an exclusive unveiling ceremony on day one of Clerkenwell Design Week, the three creations will go head to head on the Roger Lewis stand, with visitors encouraged to vote for their favourite via Instagram – ‘liking’ their favourite image on the Roger Lewis profile – and on the stand.

The launch of the industry-leading app marks 30 years in business. It was born from marrying Roger Lewis’ future-facing approach with its wealth of skilled craftsmanship, alongside an acute understanding of the A&D sector’s desire for furniture with a unique point of difference.

A hero selection of the latest products will also feature on the Roger Lewis stand, DF19, including the Sintra and Onyar pieces, plus the brand new Kyoto range, providing an opportunity to view the fine detailing up close. Design director Nick Lewis, alongside collaborators Richard Jones and Jim Wright, will be on hand to provide the creative context to the products, which draw inspiration from around the globe.
