During Clerkenwell Design Week, Oriole will be hosting a panel discussion in partnership with St Germain to discuss what it take to design the world’s best bars.The panel discussion will be chaired by Emma O’Kelly, featuring Harry Handelsman of Manhattan Loft Corporation (developer behind Chiltern Firehouse and St Pancras Renaissance Hotel), interior designer Iwan Halstead of DayTrip.Studio (designers of Oriole), international drinks and bar journalist Jane Ryan and Roisin Stimpson, Co-Owner of multi-award winning bars Oriole, Nightjar and Swift.

The discussion will provide 360 insight into the design process for hospitality venues from concept to delivery; as an owner/operator and developer; the interior design; and how this is then presented to the consumer and industry peers.

Consistently features in the World’s 50 Best Bar Awards since it launched, Oriole (currently placed at 17 in the prestigious awards) has been consistently praised for its unique interior, inspired by the exotic and glamorous old-school clubs of the 30s.

Entry is from 4pm for complimentary welcome drinks with the talk due to start at 4.30pm prompt for approx. one hour. Tickets are £5, which include a St Germain spritz upon arrival and can be booked via the website. Guests are welcome to stay on throughout the evening. There will be delicious food and a special menu of St Germain cocktails at reduced price.
