Clerkenwell Design Week 2021 will be taking the following the actions in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
As with all information and restrictions, the advice issued from government officials is under constant review so some of these measures will be amended in light of feedback governed by the AEO (Association of Event Organisers) and CDW’s own independent Health and Safety Team.
The safety of all of CDW’s participants and visitors is of the highest priority to Media 10.
Unlike other exhibitions, CDW benefits from being a ‘design festival’; the nature of which disperses our visiting audience over a large area. Each exhibition venue will be individually risk assessed, with staff monitoring capacity figures at all times. CDW will adhere to the latest advice on social distancing as the guidance changes leading up to May 2021.
Sanitiser stations will be present across the festival site. Each exhibition venue (of which there are ten) and registration areas (of which there are five) will have its own ‘sanitiser station’.
CDW will increase its street level signage focused on any measures and restrictions applicable in May 2021. These could include social distancing restrictions and face covering requirements.
CDW already operates a robust cleaning regime for its exhibition venues. This will be increased for CDW May 2021 as each venue will undergo a regular ‘deep clean’. We will ask our exhibitors and participants to have their own stand cleaning policies in place for their space and products, which will be reviewed and approved before the event.
CDW will be updating it’s own Code of Conduct for all participants in line with advice in May 2021. This will be communicated to participants via the E-Zone before the event.
