More Life - Form Follows
At Clerkenwell Design Week 2026, Benchmark invites visitors to explore how solid timber and circular design create furniture built to last. Under the theme “More Life – Form Follows”, the exhibition showcases pieces designed for longevity, adaptability, and reuse — from carefully crafted materials to thoughtful construction.
Benchmark will also share its pilot Digital Product Passport, providing provenance, carbon impact, care guidance, and pathways for replacement parts, ensuring furniture can be maintained, upgraded, or reimagined over its lifespan.
Visitors can experience the FYN Collection by Foster + Partners, a modular system that embodies furniture to last for the lifespan of a building. Crafted from solid timber, natural upholstery, and oiled finishes FYN is designed to be reimagined: scaled, moved, reconfigured, and easily disassembled for repair or replacement.
The exhibition will feature talks and workshops on designing for disassembly, reconfiguration, and Product Passports, offering insight into furniture that evolves with changing needs.
