RS Barcelona CDW press release
RS Barcelona arrives at Clerkenwell Design Week for the first time, with its commitment to champion the concept of play. That’s what it has been doing for over fifteen years. Playing unabashedly. Making every day a new game. Daring to play in settings where it wasn’t thought appropriate to do so. Breaking the rules and reinterpreting convention.
At RS Barcelona they are artists of play, experts in elevating it and creating memorable experience, those captivating occasions that stay with us, that we long to repeat. Visitors are invited to discover The Art of Play, a proposal that lies in striking a balance between design, aesthetics, and fun; in fusing sophistication with enthusiasm and joy of living.
The Barcelona-based brand shows at Salón Exhibition at Chapter Hall, the colourful You and Me Monochrome ping-pong table and the Seu bench to express where play, design and functionality blends.

You and Me Monochrome
In the You and Me Monochrome ping-pong table, colour in its purest form unveils its extraordinary strength and character. Additive-free, without distractions or blends. A striking impact on the senses that highlights the essence of its design and transforms the simplicity of this iconic table’s lines into pure beauty.
A palette of 21 colours, ranging from the timeless sophistication of black and white to the bold brilliance of yellow. A full spectrum of contrasts and nuances that turns the game of ping-pong into a vibrant visual experience, making the You and Me Monochrome a unique aesthetic statement. The colour palette of this striking edition was defined by Antoni Pallejà, who designed the original You and Me for RS Barcelona more than ten years ago.
This edition of the You and Me ping-pong table is crafted entirely from metal, ensuring durability, endurance, and stability without compromise. Its steel structure and aluminium playing surface form the perfect canvas on which colour adheres seamlessly, creating a flawless monochromatic masterpiece. A visual explosion that awakens the senses—an invitation to play, dream, and embrace optimism.
Seu
Seu is shaped on sports grounds. On the benches of courts and tracks, where time and shared use leave their mark, through endless matches and whispered strategies under a rival’s watchful eye.
That’s where its character comes from: resilient, raw, and direct. Its presence is light, almost silent, able to inhabit different spaces with ease. Beneath a refined aesthetic and understated design lies a thoughtful feature: a subtle curve that welcomes the body, offering comfort and rest. A pause. An invitation to stop, breathe, and reconnect. An honest design that embodies freedom, adaptability, and resilience.
The lightness of its aluminium structure allows it to move effortlessly from one place to another, embracing its nomadic spirit, an innate attitude that makes it ready to adapt to any function and environment. Seu challenges expectations. Its apparent aesthetic simplicity hides an unexpected twist, and its formal restraint becomes its masterstroke.
Designed by Antoni Pallejà Office for RS Barcelona, Seu is presented in five lengths (220, 180, 150, 130, and 45 cm) and in a palette of 21 colours, ranging from timeless black and white to organic greens and blues, as well as bold yellow and orange for a more daring expression.
Made entirely of aluminium, the separation between the two seating surfaces prevents water accumulation and allows easy drainage, making Seu a bench designed to feel at home indoors and outdoors without limits.
A passion for design
RS Barcelona designs driven by passion to create memorable experiences with its unique game tables and furniture. Collections that inspire people to live in a more creative, friendly, and sustainable way. Seeking for the beauty in simplicity and focusing on the exquisite nature of details to make authentic pieces that enrich the spaces we inhabit and share. And it does so by highlighting the power of play.
Because play is an attitude. An expression of optimism. Through The Art of Play, they invite us to play without complexes or restrictions. Daring to play in scenarios where it was not appropriate to do so, reinterpreting the conventional to make it iconic. Finding the balance between design and fun. Fusing sophistication with illusion and the joy of living.
