Arlette and Classic Dining Chairs
Designed to bring enhanced flexibility to both residential and hospitality settings, these additions reflect Sutherland’s ongoing commitment to craftsmanship, timeless design, and functional elegance. First introduced in 1993 and designed by John Hutton, the Classic Collection remains one of Sutherland’s most iconic offerings. The award-winning design—recipient of the Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum—continues to exemplify the brand’s balance of comfort, proportion, and enduring style. For Spring 2026, the collection expands to include the Classic Stacking Dining Arm Chair and Classic Stacking Dining Side Chair. Crafted from premium teak, both are designed to integrate seamlessly with Sutherland dining tables (excluding Ona and Franck) and offer practical stacking capabilities for efficient storage while maintaining the clean, refined silhouette that defines the Classic aesthetic.
The Arlette Collection, designed by Laetitia de Allegri and Matteo Fogale, is further elevated with the introduction of the Arlette Stacking Dining Arm Chair and Arlette Stacking Dining Side Chair. Created to complement the Arlette Dining Table, the chairs echo the distinctive profile of the table’s center beam, reinforcing the collection’s cohesive architectural language. Softly contoured seat edges and refined slatted detailing provide visual lightness and comfort, with an optional cushion available for added layering. Designed to stack up to two frames high, the Arlette chairs deliver thoughtful functionality without sacrificing elegance.
All four chairs are crafted in teak and available in natural, weathered, clear sealer, and yacht finishes. Together, these new stackable dining designs underscore Sutherland’s dedication to innovative design and uncompromising quality, continuing to define the future of luxury outdoor living.
