High-performance privacy for teams 

Bound Sit-Stand Desking uses a shared structure to create a system of booths, with the ability to arrange them side-to-side or back-to-back. Bound's hemp-infill screens boast a Class A acoustic rating. The panels stand 1400 mm high, and the work surface rises to 1250 mm, offering ample visual privacy with easy-to-use height adjustability. With advanced technology, the desk promotes wellbeing by providing digital nudges as a reminder to stand when someone's been sitting for an extended period with an easy tilt-operated handset. It also features two memory locations, a lock feature, and an anti-collision sensor. 

 

Sustainability first 

Eco-credentials were at the forefront of its design: the desking system’s 85% recycled aluminium frame and 80% recycled aluminium height-adjustable actuators reduce its carbon. Its screens are made with a carbon-negative hemp crop used for the infill further minimizes its footprint, locally farmed in the UK, and circular with all offcuts being reprocessed into the same products.1 

 

Inclusive design  

With its ability to reduce audible and visual distractions, Bound Sit-Stand Desking was designed with neurodiversity top of mind. The unique design, which uses a screen panel with embedded height-adjustable worksurface, provides wheelchair users or those with leg braces or other mobility devices a means of adjusting the height of the worksurface without introducing bulky table legs that can create barriers.
