Eames Pavilion System
The Eames Pavilion System translates the architectural principles of Charles and Ray Eames into a contemporary modular construction system designed for residential, hospitality, workplace and cultural applications. Developed by Kettal in collaboration with the Eames Office, the system is based on a lightweight prefabricated aluminium structure combined with interchangeable façade, roofing and enclosure components that allow multiple spatial configurations and scales.
Designed as an open and flexible platform rather than a fixed pavilion typology, the system integrates principles of industrialized assembly, modular repetition, transparency and indoor-outdoor continuity central to the Eameses’ architectural work. Structural efficiency, adaptability and ease of installation are combined with high-performance materials and contemporary manufacturing processes to create versatile environments capable of responding to different functional and climatic requirements.
Presented during Milan Design Week 2026, the project continues the Eames legacy of accessible, modular architecture through a contemporary architectural language developed for evolving ways of living and working.
