Embody Chair designed by Bill Stumpf and Jeff Weber

Embody is a serious chair for serious sitters, Embody offers the most comprehensive personalised ergonomic support available and health-positive benefits.

A health-positive design, backed by research

Designed with the input of more than 30 physicians and PhDs in biomechanics, vision, physical therapy, and ergonomics, Embody sets the benchmark for pressure distribution, natural alignment, and support for healthy movement in ergonomic seating.

It is the only chair that actually improves your health while you sit.  Embody began with the recognition of a previously unsolved problem: the lack of physical harmony between people and their technology. Spending too much time interacting with our various devices, moving nothing but our fingers, can make us stiff and tired because our bodies are made to move. With Embody, designers Bill Stumpf and Jeff Weber set out to solve this problem.

Dynamic support

Thanks to a matrix of pixels, the seat and back surfaces automatically conform to your body’s micro-movements, distributing weight evenly as you sit. The Backfit adjustment allows you to position the backrest in-line with your spine’s natural curve to achieve a neutral, balanced posture. The seat is composed of four different support layers designed for airflow, keeping you cool and comfortable as you sit. PostureFit supports your spine at its lowest point, the sacrum, and reinforces your pelvis, preventing slouching and fatigue while you sit.
