Hari is the result of the latest collaboration between Ondarreta and Estudi{H}ac studio. Hari means “thread” in Basque. Ondarreta wanted to create a new family of flexible chairs, a well-designed chair adapting to different environments and customers without losing its true essence. Estudi{H}ac particularly specialises in creating pieces that you can play with, creating endless variations, but that at the same time are so authentic that their identity is unmistakable and can be recognised from afar.

That is how Hari was born. A chair that recognises the simplicity of a thread but that also acknowledges the endless possibilities within it.

The process started with being able to create a useful chair that fits with a line of light and simple chairs that at the same time would make an impact. From the beginning, it was very important that it had to be a versatile chair that would work in different materials and finishes.
