Inspiration

Inspired by the organic complexity of coral reefs, this work envisions a piece of underwater life frozen in time and lit from within. Created from a recycled wine bottle, the material itself echoes the regenerative qualities of coral—transformed, reassembled, and given new life. I have added fragments of discarded rubbish to mirror the quiet resilience of underwater worlds, but to also illustrate the urgent reality that these environments are increasingly shaped by what we throw away.
