Origin is a series of sofas and armchairs defined by soft, rounded forms. The molded, externally mounted legs and the sculptural seams along the armrests play a central role in the expression. Origin may appear compact in scale, but opens up generously as you sink into the sofa, offering both support and an enveloping sense of comfort. The collection is many things at once while remaining restrained—both strict and lively at the same time. Designer Matti Klenell himself describes it as a blend of a Volvo 745 and a Fiat 500.
