Panda Seating System Panda Seating System

Panda System is a soft seating system by Monica Förster. The design is conceived from a perfectly formed seat, characterised by its softly shaped outside edges and ergonomically curved inside profile.

Panda System is host to a variety of modular elements designed to fit seamlessly together, and empowering specifiers to create dynamic workspaces and unique configurations suited for casual or more formal activities within the office.

Catering to flexible working patterns, Panda system is designed with chaise longue ends, high back screens for privacy and integrated side or corner tables, and singular coffee or laptop tables. Design flowing lines of Panda in the space by linking modules with either low oak veneer tables or upholstered ottomans with convex or concave shapes.

To complement the seating modules, stand alone privacy cubbies with desks can be joined onto 1, 2 or 3 seater modules, or remain as individual work desks. The cubby provides light acoustic support to shelter away from the noise of the office.

As a regular sofa, Panda includes the original armchair, two-seater and three-seater sofa, with accompanying chaise and integrated solid oak low table, an elegant metal frame gently cushions Panda’s rounded form.

A foam free option is available for the Panda System, replacing petroleum-based foams with natural coconut, latex, wool and spring construction over the ply and steel frame.

Designed for breakout and lounge spaces, atriums and receptions, Panda system is a versatile and classic design of quality built to last.
