Recycled Plastics 'Marbled' Wall light
The brief was simple but ambitious: to turn waste into wonderful materials that our customers would be excited to have in their homes.
And over the past 6 months our dedicated team have been working hard on exactly that. Locally sourcing waste plastics from our workshop, homes, suppliers and local businesses, and spending countless hours tinkering, tweaking & perfecting various concepts and methods of recycling soft plastic waste into beautiful lighting for interior design.
The incredibly exciting result is a locally sourced recycled plastic that resembles marble in four colourways inspired by classic marble regions.
Black & White Marbled Recycled Plastic:
Inspired by Nero Marquina marble from the Markina region of North Spain. This finish features a deep black base & imbedded lines with bright white marbling.
Grey & White Marbled Recycled Plastic:
Inspired by the Carrara Marble of Tuscany, this style of marble has been used in architecture and design from Ancient Rome to modern day.
Deep Mixed Grey Marbled Recycled Plastic:
Inspired by Fior Di Bosco Marble, produced not far from Tuscany. The rich and deep tones create endless layers of colouration.
Soft Green Marbled Recycled Plastic:
Inspired by Verde Indio, this green recycled plastic marble is soft in both light and dark tones. Fitting well with neutral & warm spaces.
Our first light to feature in this new range of recycled plastics is a simple disc design to allow the surface texture to take front and center. Featuring our signature Opal globe shades. These lights can also be used as ceiling lights.
