We’re proud that we developed the UK’s first anti-ligature door for en-suite bathrooms. The SafeDoor® is made from lightweight, soft foam and anti-bacterial fabric. It is a great option to provide privacy to service users without posing a ligature risk.

Magnetic hinges connect the door to its frame, and under an excess load, the door will separate. This fail-safe design eliminates ligature risks, and the lightweight foam ensures that the door will not inflict serious harm if it’s used as a weapon.

The SafeDoor® features an external surface that can be printed on to suit the décor of the room it’s installed in.  Any colour or image can be specified, helping to brighten up a room and induce a calming feeling.
