Scultorea Delicata
The main new feature is the matt finish of the surfaces. In fact, the Bologna show marks the debut of the large size (120x278 cm) in Velvet finish: finely honed with a soft ‘feel’, it emanates subtle, luminous reflections that give body to the graphic design and perfectly interpret all the exquisite shades of marble itself. In addition to Velvet – and the familiar smooth, glossy Reflex – the Natural finish creates surfaces that are silky to the touch but matt in appearance, attenuating the reflection of light in tactile slabs with all the natural beauty of marble itself but with technical properties suitable even for damp locations.
Scultorea Delicata comprises six graphic and colour variants. Travertino Bianco and Travertino Dorato, inspired by cross-cut Travertine and its porous structure varying in colour from milky white to walnut, with highlights ranging from yellow to red and through to grey. Calacatta Velato, the most classical of white marbles, with a gleaming background and elegant, light veining in warm grey tones. Bianco Striato, which interprets the beauty of Lasa marble, with its deep, almost ethereal white colour occasionally evolving into a dense, creamy beige, on which a variety of shades are introduced by the vein patterns, which change even from slab to slab. Puro Avorio, a homage to limestone onyx, a material highly prized for its hardness and radiance, and golden onyx, with its beige background colour enlivened by delicate streaks and highlights. Last but not least, Taj Mahal Cristallo, an evocation of this quartzite originating from Brazil: it is a beige-white rock with a particularly luminous crystalline structure, run through with sinuous streaks in pale gold, beige or pearly grey.
The collection extends beyond the indoors into the outdoors with the Textured finish, available in the two Travertino variants, in 60x120 cm size. Its 20 mm thickness and sharp granular texture guarantee solidity, comfort and stylistic matching between indoor and outdoor areas.
