INTERIORS FROM SPAIN, a brand by ICEX Spain Trade and Investment that promotes Spanish design companies and designers abroad, presents El Salón, a Spanish design installation at Clerkenwell Design Week 2026. Conceived by designer Tomás Alonso, El Salón reimagines the Chapter Hall of the historic Museum of the Order of St John as a contemporary textile landscape. Alonso’s installation plays with the context of its surroundings, creating a contemporary space within the historic fabric of the museum. El Salón uses a series of textile backdrops to weave together pieces by leading brands across furniture, lighting, bathroom and surface solutions, spotlighting the creativity, quality and innovation of Spanish design. Produced by Disegno, the London-based design journal, the installation offers a space for gathering, exchange and exploration of contemporary Spanish design.
