Kronospan is a world leader in the design and manufacture of wood-based products for use in, construction, furniture, exterior and interior design.  Embodying the circular economy within each of our wood-based panels, Kronospan puts sustainability at the core of our entire range of decorative surfaces, flooring and structural panels.

In the Kronospan Design Center at 73-75 Goswell Road we are joined by fellow masters in surface design and partners KAINDL, EMPORIO Skin and FALCO.  Through these partnerships Kronospan has brought together the best of European surface design and innovation, creating an unrivalled space for inspiration and creativity.

  • Join us on day one as Barista Benj fuels Clerkenwell with exceptional coffee, while you explore our range of beautifully crafted surfaces. Crowned UK Latte Art Champion 2025, Benj combines craft and performance, offering live demonstrations alongside interactive sessions where guests can explore free-pour techniques and create bespoke foam designs. This is a drop-in style event, no booking required.
  • Created for CDW 2026, this installation by architect Tannaz Oroumchi repurposes original Kronospan material samples. Each piece has been hand-cut into a unique shape and assembled into a flowing, organic structure. Installed at the entrance to the Kronospan Design Center, the work invites visitors to reconsider the possibilities of Kronospan materials and explore their creative potential. Tannaz Oroumchi will be present throughout CDW to introduce visitors to the installation.
  • Feldenkrais Movement with Lars Fischer (London Feldenkrais Collective) Join us every morning for a relaxing, balanced, and connective experience. This gentle, guided Move Better - Design Better class invites you to explore simple movements at your own pace. With clear verbal guidance, you’ll move slowly and comfortably, focusing on how your body feels rather than achieving a specific result.
  • The future of work cannot be sustainable unless it works for the whole human. Drawing on experience leading commercial workplace design for global brands, alongside a health coaching practice informed by lived experience of stress, ambition and the realities of modern work, this talk explores the intersection of space, physiology and performance. From acoustics and light to density and culture, it unpacks how design decisions shape energy, focus and resilience.
  • Join us for a hands-on, build-your-own bowl workshop celebrating seasonal ingredients & the simple pleasure of eating well. Layer flavours, textures, & nutrients to create a lunch that feels vibrant & satisfying. The session also weaves in gentle chair yoga, simple breathing techniques, & short mindfulness exercises to help reduce stress, slow down, & refocus. You’ll leave with a delicious, personalised meal & practical tools to support your energy, wellbeing, & creativity beyond lunch.
  • Discover the story of Kaindl, rooted in Salzburg, Austria, where a strong heritage of craftsmanship meets modern manufacturing. This session explores how the brand has evolved over generations, from its origins in timber production to a deep connection with natural materials. It highlights how tradition, innovation, and a commitment to quality continue to shape Kaindl’s identity and influence its approach to contemporary surface design.
  • Join Alexander Esfahani (Chapman Taylor Architects) as he discusses the role of AI in driving innovation and sustainability within the built environment.  
  • Join Harry Gillham-Lee from COAT Paints as he explores the science and art of colour in design. Discover how to craft palettes, mix tones, and apply colour strategically to transform spaces with confidence and creativity.

  • Join HUT Architects as they talk through the design of Kronospan’s first UK showroom in Clerkenwell, London.As part of Clerkenwell Design Week 2026, HUT Architecture presents an in-depth talk exploring the design and delivery of the UK’s first Kronospan showroom in the heart of Clerkenwell. Located on a prominent corner site, the 600m² space transforms a former office into an immersive retail environment constructed entirely from Kronospan’s own timber-based products.
