The theme at Parkside’s Clerkenwell Design Studio for this year’s CDW focuses on colour and how we can use it as a way of improving our wellbeing in the spaces in which we work and spend our leisure time. The showroom’s series of events will include a panel discussion, ‘Curative colour: the power to heal’, exploring just how deep our emotional wellbeing is related to colour and whether a genuine link to health improvement can truly be found. Chaired by Joanna Watchman from Work in Mind and made-up of panellists from the worlds of colour and design, it promises to be a lively and thought-provoking highlight of Parkside’s programme.
Parkside will also unveil its new Matrix collection. Created with the help of leading colour consultant Vanessa Konig and featuring high-quality ceramic wall tiles and detailing (trims and grouts) in a broad palette of colours, Matrix lets designers curate colour in new-found ways. From harmonious combinations in complete coordination through to mixing up bright colours for playful, fun-affirming looks, Matrix is a commercial tile first that’s well worth popping in to see.
