Studio Palatin is a Vienna based design studio creating small editions of sculptural lighting and objects in porcelain, bronze and precious materials. Rooted in a dialogue between tradition and contemporary form, the work explores light as a tactile and atmospheric presence within interior space.
Founded in 2020 by Barbara Palatin Doyle, the studio reflects her background in the decorative arts and her focus on craftsmanship, material integrity and timeless design.
Combining biscuit porcelain, hand polished and patinated bronze, and signature shades made from Japanese Hosho paper, the collections are conceived as functional sculptures with a strong tactile quality and a quiet architectural presence.
Presented at Clerkenwell Design Week, Studio Palatin offers a refined approach to contemporary lighting, where sculptural clarity, enduring materials and meticulous execution come together for residential and hospitality interiors.
