Swarf Hardware is a British hardware brand founded by husband and wife team Sam Fish and Kate Worthington. Materials and the making process are at the heart of Swarf; we use local suppliers and produce our handles in small batches, machining and hand-finishing in our Essex workshop. We're proud to continue traditional manual machining practices and as a celebration of this, our designs are named after British lathe makers from the 19th and 20th centuries.
We strive to make the smallest possible environmental impact from the hardware we produce. Our ethos is to make products that will last many years and can sent back to us for refinishing, repair or recycling and the end of use. Localised production means that our stock has only travelled a handful of miles before it reaches our customers and clients.
