Geraniums to transform entrance of The Zetter Townhouse

Coral coloured Geraniums will transform the iconic entrance of  The Zetter Townhouse hotel in Clerkenwell (with one of the most photographed doorways in London) coinciding with #CDW2019.  The fantasy ‘underwater’ mermaid vignette, celebrates  the longstanding urban popularity of the geranium in this stunning hue.

‘Geraniums in Coral’ is co-designed by award-winning garden designers and RHS medallists, Claudia de Yong, and Ian Drummond, creative director of Indoor Garden Design. It will showcase the ubiquitous geranium within a fabulous ‘seascape’ depiction.   Over 100 coral geraniums will be incorporated into the installation alongside a statuesque mermaid and oyster shell, clad in varying shades of moss.  Grasses, Echeveria and Rhipsalis will also form part of the design to illustrate aquatic vegetation and seaweeds. Hidden wire meshing will form the base onto which components will be attached.

The Zetter Townhouse,  a boutique hotel with a Georgian façade, bears one of the most photographed doorways in London and acts as a hidden gem for those wanting a bit of respite during CDW.
