Workbench developed Glimpse with a brief to create a beautiful partition with a low carbon footprint, using simple mechanisms and standard timber sections.
Providing flexible screening in open plan areas that allows your space to be partitioned or open by simply turning the rotating fins. The fins are manually operated transforming your surroundings, from being a light and airy when fully open, to providing zones of independent working and private meetings when fully closed.
Part of the design challenge was to create something bespoke whilst utilising as many universal sections sizes and fixing details as possible to maximise the capabilities in a range of materials.
