sixteen3 is proud to announce the launch of Monsal for Clerkenwell Design Week 2023. Inspired by the design teams' favourite footpaths through the rolling hills of the Peak District, Monsal is a compact and size-adjustable bench seating range. Benches connect end-to-end to create long runs of banquette or backless bench seating, reminiscent of the train carriages that once steamed along the railway, now the Monsal Trail footpath. The design echoes the natural beauty of the Peak District and offers a touch of nostalgia to any interior space. 

In addition to its stylish design, Monsal offers a range of customisation options to suit a variety of purposes and styles. Choose from a plinth, leg, and castor options to diversify Monsal's functionality, while custom sizing provides a sleek built-in aesthetic. Quilted upholstery gives Monsal a tactile and luxurious aesthetic, backrests and seats can be plain or quilted, adding depth whilst also enhancing comfort and providing a cosy seating experience.
