have always tried to design
innovative products with a
special value, an extra as an
encouragement to invest in
them, or to use an industrial
term, to launch its manufacture.
Perhaps I have not always
achieved this. However, I think
that this new product “Origami
System” is one of the most
successful and effective ideas.
It happened almost out of the
blue; I was cutting and folding a
paper and all of a sudden there
was this shape that, despite
being quite irregular, conveys
its meaning immediately and
allows – and this rarely happens
– a total reading of its unusual
and almost sculptural line.
