Explore historic and modern architecture on Maggie's walking tour
Maggie's Barts

Clerkenwell is rich in both historic and modern architecture. This walk will explore architecture from the 12th century to the 21st century. We will visit the 18th century Old Sessions House, 15 Clerkenwell Close by Amin Taha, the Finsbury Health Centre by Berthold Lubetkin, an Ove Arup thin shell concrete dome, the 12th century St Barts and the 21st century Maggie's Centre by Steven Holl. We will also pass by and discuss work by YRM, Piers Gough, David Adjaye and James Gibb's 18th century Great Hall and the Hogarth canvases. The walk will take approximately 3 hours and will cover a little over 2 miles.
