Mostly known for their colourful hand-blown glass lights,'Curiousa & Curiousa's latest design focuses on the translucent natural material of Dupion silk, as they mix imagery of English gardens with the influence of traditional Chinese lanterns.
The nature-inspired range was created using designer Esther Patterson's original drawings and paintings of wildflowers and plants in the Derbyshire countryside as well as her own personal garden. The lantern comes in a choice of six prints, including flourishing gardens with peonies and irises, chinoiserie-inspired landscapes and a subtle textured print that can be matched to any colour scheme.
With a width of 800mm the lantern, with its luxurious silk tassel, provides a colourful way to celebrate nature inside any home.
Each light is handmade to order and, as well as your choice of print, you can choose your tassel, flex and fitting colours to make your UME LANTERN your own.
