Ergonomics and Aging in the Built Environment – with Blum® Age Explorer® (Thursday)
Why does ageing matter in built environment designs? Here, we discuss how to design for the changing needs of an ageing population, explore the effects of ageing and the resulting changes in capability, and consider design solutions to future proof interiors.
This talk will be enhanced by the Blum® Age Explorer® - a suit developed by the Meyer-Hentschel Institute to simulate the diminishing sight and hearing, decreasing muscle strength, stiff joints and arthritis experienced as we age.
