Morgan will be launching two new collaborative projects at this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week: the architectural Rakino lounge collection by designer Tim Rundle, and a selection of new, strikingly geometric Goodwood coffee tables, with artist Mark McClure. Also on display will be the recent additions to the Rio table collection, in collaboration with architect Mehran Gharleghi, of studio INTEGRATE.
The new products will sit alongside a complete showroom transformation, following the theme ‘Plant a Seed’, including an energetic large-scale art installation, ‘Alive in the Human Hive’, by David Shillinglaw and an organic lighting installation by Tom Raffield.
Join Morgan during the festival for a number of events. On Tuesday, a panel talk by Double Decker curators Wilhelm Finger and Melita Skamnaki, ‘Redefining Hotel Art’, precedes Morgan’s annual product launch party, including canapés and live music. On Wednesday, Tom Raffield will be giving a talk entitled ‘Taking Inspiration from Nature’.
PARTY UPDATE: Morgan’s Live Jazz Party was unfortunately listed in the CDW Guide in error as being on Thursday 23rd May. It actually starts at 6pm on TUESDAY 21st May – so make sure to pop by on the first day of CDW to kickstart your festival week with drinks, canapés and live music alongside a unique art installation by David Shillinglaw!
