Harriet Forde is an established interior designer and the founder of the London-based practice Harriet Forde Design. Recognised for her work with commercial, hotel and residential clients, she is regularly commissioned to work on projects across the UK, continental Europe and the Middle East and has built a successful business with a design approach centred on the strength of her team’s understanding of space and translating it into original concepts and designs.

Having begun her study of interior design at the London School of Furniture, Harriet went on to graduate from the prestigious university Central St Martin’s with a degree in textiles. Following more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality sector — working for the likes of Richard Daniels, Richmond International and Areen Design — she eventually set up her own practice in 1999. Harriet continues to personally head every project, using her long-standing passions for meditation, travel and good food to relax.
