Stefan began his career studying Civil Engineering at the University of South Wales before moving into live event technology, specialising in lighting, sound, and rigging for performance. Early project work in the UK saw him designing for dance, opera, live broadcast, and contemporary circus, collaborating with organisations such as the National Theatre Wales, Dance Wales, the BBC, and NoFit State Circus.
After relocating to Australia, he co-ran Isambard Studio in Melbourne, where he led creative direction, concept development, and project delivery across high-end residential, boutique retail, theatre, and public realm schemes.
At Nulty, Stefan oversees a broad range of projects and plays an active role in shaping imaginative and innovative design outcomes across the practice. A strong advocate for collaborative working, he is committed to mentoring his team and supporting emerging talent within the studio.
