William Knight has worked at the centre of UK design promotion for over 20 years. He has run some of the biggest design events in London, including the London Design Festival and Clerkenwell Design Week. He is the co-founder of Material Matters, the cross-media platform that showcases the importance of materials in design and architecture. William is also a Director of BETTER FUTURE Awards; the world’s largest network of design awards. Established in 2010, BETTER FUTURE runs 20 annual programs around the world - including the London Design Awards. The awards aim to champion a better future across all areas of design and architecture, with ten major categories that have delivered recognition for over 12,000 projects and 3,500 creative teams and their clients.
