Integral to the festival are the local resident design showrooms, who partner with Clerkenwell Design Week every year. Discover more than 130 showrooms, each of which provided the festival with a stimulating programme of topic-led events including talks, workshops and product launches.

CDW featured eleven exhibition venues dotted across EC1, all showcasing a curated mix of leading brands and emerging talent - covering furniture, lighting, textile, surface, accessory and product design from around the world.

New for 2023, CDW highlighted key festival hubs as design destinations. Visitors saw a plethora of activity from a range of brands dotted across EC1. 

During the three days of the festival, new design projects, street spectacles and temporary installations featured prominently around Clerkenwell. They were created to challenge visitors’ perception of design application, as well as to inspire and entertain.

Visitors discovered, interacted and connected with industry professionals at CDW's programme of specially curated events. From workshops to product launches and parties, visitors were invited to join in with activities and network in London’s creative heart.

Clerkenwell is home to a variety of creative practices including architects, branding agencies and craft studios. In celebration of the event, many of these local practices opened their doors to the festival's visitors and hosted workshops, displays and installations.

As part of Clerkenwell Design Week’s live programme, Conversations at Clerkenwell, sponsored by RAK showcased in-depth dialogue with established and new design talent, industry leaders, journalists and institutes, across a 3-day programme of topical talks.
