Clerkenwell Design Week are delighted to offer a number of work experience opportunities within the core team as well as with a number of key suppliers.

Clerkenwell Design Week work experience role:

This opportunity will allow someone to experience some of the key functions that help to make Clerkenwell Design Week come to life. Working within the event operations team, the successful candidate will experience the build and open period of the event with opportunities to spend time with our Ops Manger, H&S Team, Traffic, Stand Build and Lifting teams to get a real look at what it takes to organise an event of this scale.

Open to anyone over the age of 16 who has an interest in events.

Perfect People work experience role:

Perfect People agency have been working with Media 10 Ltd, the event organisers of Clerkenwell Design Week, for many years. The agency provides event support staff during the show. The roles staff undertake are wide ranging from registration support to sales positions, way finding and much more. Perfect People would love to employ local staff that are familiar with the area and its history, offering unique insight to CDW visitors. Apply by visiting the Staff tab on www.perfectpeopleagency.co.uk and sign-up. Candidates need to complete their necessary details (takes approx 15 mins) and upload recent photographs. Perfect People will then arrange a zoom call / interview.

Connection Crew are looking for amazing people to join their crew - it takes a special person to do this job and to do it the Connection Crew way

Connection Crew need people who:

Have a positive attitude and want to work
Are physically fit and up for physically demanding work
Able to communicate effectively and work well in a team
Are always punctual and able to work to deadlines
Are happy to work around the clock, 365 days a year (with breaks and holidays obvs, we’re not monsters!)

Desirable Criteria:

Manual handling experience of any kind, preferably heavy lifting
experience of working with audio-visual companies
Any experience of the events industry, construction or film and television
driving license and experience of driving commercial vehicles
operators of tele handlers, forklifts, cherry pickers or scissor lifts
