Social housing and the hopes of young Londoners: Ayo Akingbade’s A Glittering City
Commissioned by the Whitechapel Gallery, Fire in My Belly is now on show at the gallery along with Dear Babylon in a London-focused installation titled A Glittering City. ‘It’s essentially an ode to London and its varied history, complex geographical makeup and the plethora of cultures and realities that exists within it,’ Akingbade tells ICON.

Together We Are One is the joyful message in a new art trail in Manchester's Old Trafford
A new community project has launched in Old Trafford that hopes to bring some art and positivity to the city streets. Kicking off with the first of many murals is Together We Are One in Seymour Park, a bold and colourful piece made in collaboration between Manchester designer Robert Lomas and local artist Becki Miller.
