BAUX – The bright future of wellbeing in architecture and interior design
For Clerkenwell Design Week 2023 BAUX reveal an exhibition dedicated to the future of Architecture, Interior Design, and Wellbeing, in an installation featuring an exterior designed by Morag Myerscough
Eight students from Scandinavia’s finest Architectural Institutes, were invited by BAUX, to explore how buildings of tomorrow can actively nurture productivity, wellbeing and creativity. The concepts were first revealed in Stockholm in February and will be presented for Clerkenwell, in a free-standing installation which takes the form of a museum-like exhibition, co-designed by BAUX and Swedish design studio, Form Us With Love. The structure has been airlifted from Stockholm, fitting with the brand’s commitment to reuse and sustainability, across all areas of the business.
The work of the students is presented through scale models and renders - in an exciting and futuristic Acoustic Lounge. An internal hub allows visitors to experience the BAUX Acoustic Products in more depth, with detailed background on each biodegradable ingredient, colours and variations across the range of Wood Wool Tiles and Panels, Pulp Panels, and Felt Screens made from recycled PET bottles.
For CDW, BAUX has collaborated with leading artist and designer Morag Myerscough, inviting her to express her unique and celebrated style and creativity, in an exterior feature wall to the BAUX Acoustic Lounge, which will sit in the central location of St John's Square. The feature will see 6 panels created from large Wood Wool tiles in Morag's choice of patterns and custom colours, and will cover the entire exterior of the installation. Morag says, ‘BAUX LOVE nature, and I LOVE nature!'
Location: St John's Square, EC1M 4EB
