Tuesday 20 May
16:00
YOTEL London City, 96-100 Clerkenwell Rd, EC1M 5RJ
The theme will revolve around the sustainable value of traditional materials (such as
glass and wood) and the age-old wisdom of resourcefulness (think water-saving
practices, material reuse, and more) set against the backdrop of today’s fast-paced
race for the development of new materials and technologies.
This is not a case of one approach against the other, but rather an exploration of
how both paths - tradition and innovation - ultimately strive toward the same goal:
building a more sustainable and conscious future for design and architecture.
Speakers: William Knight - Co-Founder, Material Matters, Stephen Philips - Product Design Leader, Arup
Moderator: Daniel Gava - Board Advisor to the Design Industry
This session will be followed by reception drinks at 5:00pm at Italian Collection
